My Trips to the Hospital

Hi, I'm Cari. When I was a teenager, my best friend Claire's mom got cancer. I started offering to take Deb (the mom) to the hospital for her treatments to help give the family a break. They had all been in and out of the hospital so much, and since I'm basically family to them, it was nice to support Deb and Claire. Not to mention, I was able to learn a lot about different medical topics just be listening and watching while waiting in the hospital. It was fascinating. To everyone's joy, after a long and hard two years, Deb finally beat cancer! I decided to start this blog as a memorial to all those who have struggled with health problems and as a resource to for anyone who needs to know more about hospitals and treatments.

Health is the most important resource a person can have. There is no amount of money or fame that can be exchanged for being able to live freely without health worries. This is why people in the 21st century have realized how crucial having healthy life habits is. Therefore, the health sciences community has tried to come up with solutions for people who are lacking in their self-care department.

One of the pillars of healthy living is exercise and being physically active. But not a small percentage of people dislike physical activity. This is why a big portion of the population suffers from physical inactivity-related diseases like diabetes, hypertension, and excess body fat. This leads to protection from metabolism-related diseases like diabetes and hypercholesterolemia.

Overall, ballet is a classical art that has inspired many of today's dance genres. Its practice can help keep a person safe and healthy throughout their lives. A ballet practitioner can expect to develop strength and balance when practicing. Through ballet, many of the modern-day health epidemics can be controlled, including diabetes, obesity, and hypertension.
